Having accumulated over twenty years of experience as an Electronics Engineer in the IT industry, I bring a diverse range of expertise to the table. Apart from my IT background, I have nurtured a deep understanding of visual arts, specifically in the realms of photography and printmaking. Throughout my professional journey, my main focus has been on wildlife photography, a captivating genre that entails capturing the beauty and diversity of wildlife in their natural habitats. This field has presented me with numerous challenges, further enhancing my skills. Additionally, I have also delved into videography and honed my abilities in video editing over the course of several years. What began as a hobby over two decades ago has evolved into a lifelong passion for me.
I have had the privilege of visiting numerous captivating locations throughout my photographic journey. Some notable places include Sarnath, Tadoba, Jim Corbett, Ranthambore, the Rain Forest in Sri Lanka, Leh Ladakh, Taga Tai (TAAL Volcano, an active volcano) in the Philippines, Singapore, and the Indian Ocean, where I had the opportunity to photograph dolphins, among others.PHOTOGRAPHER

One standout species is the Sri Lankan junglefowl (Gallus lafayettii or Gallus lafayetii), belonging to the bird order Galliformes and exclusive to Sri Lanka. This magnificent bird, also known as the Ceylon junglefowl or Lafayette’s junglefowl, holds the distinction of being the national bird of Sri Lanka and serves as a testament to the island’s diverse and thriving biodiversity.
